From what I can tell, this forum has not a damn clue what "spam" is. Call me strict for making this post, whatever.
Spam is posts that are useless, nonconstructive, etc. As in, if someone posts like five posts on an animation thread that don't help improvement at all, it's spam. If someone sends 5 messages or 1~2 really long messages with no point that make no sense, at least to the current discussion, it's spam. Also, I think we need to toss these crappy verbal warns. If someone's spamming it should be an immediate ban, also, do you guys even consider permanent bans for anything? Say, someone mass spams and every forum has 20 spam topics in it. Does he get a week ban? If anyone says yes to that, they have no business being staff on any forum.

Don't criticize our modding if you can't give examples. Spamming hasn't been much of a problem here from what I've seen.
Also, on a forum with only 20 some members, you can't go swinging the ban hammer over stupid little things like a lack of constructive criticism.

You need an example to know how your own members act?
I've seen plenty of spam coming from a few members, if you want me to I'll PM them to you.
I didn't say you need to swing the ban hammer over lack of constructive criticism. You just need to be a little bit stricter on it, because it is a form of spam.

If I can't even realize something is spam, it probably isn't spam. My definition of spam is an unrelated and disruptive post. Maybe I do see a few "Good job"s or "That's awesome!"s here and there, but there's no reason to freak out over it. I don't want a forum utopia, just a laid-back place to come chat when you're bored.
I appreciate your concern, but i'm afraid this is not how I operate.

exactly what near said
so far there hasn't been a major spam problem so far, there a little ones but they have been warned
if we were to ban every single person just because they spammed a little on a topic we'd be banning almost every person on this forum then we'd lose most of us making this forum barely active

Something to freak about is the random posts people make. Like in a Art topic, and someone posts...
"Dogs are cuddly"
Or some crap like that, then that's a form of spam.

If someone posts the SAME EXACT thing in each topic, like...
"Well done, it was awesome."
When it's a "Say Hello" thread, then that as well is major spam.

Sometimes you can't really think of anything else to say except, "Good job" than that's acceptable. Just be careful that people may use this as a constant excuse, so maybe after the 3rd or 4th time in a row would we start issuing warnings and bans.

See my point?

I've never double posted, or if I have it was unintentional. :/

And who locked this? It's still pretty on-topic and relevant.

Double-Posting is okay if it's unintentional. With purpose is wrong and will be warned.
Triple posting on the other hand is unnecessary; automatic warn.

What? I asked you for a link, not an alibi. It's not that big of a deal.
